Since its inception, Metabones has been designing and manufacturing lens adapters recognized among professionals and enthusiasts as leaders in design and workmanship.
Contrary to the popular trend of other factories using an aluminum ring painted black on the camera-body-side, we instead take no short-cut but use precision-machined brass with chromium plating on both the camera-body and the lens sides of our adapters, in order to ensure smooth mounting, great appearance, and durability. The lens side of the adapter features a strong leaf-spring structure, strengthening the adapter-lens connection and ensuring tightness of the lens in order to reduce wear and prevent focus errors and optical alignment issues from appearing.
Metabones uses matte-black treatment to keep internal reflection to a minimum in order to maintain the maximum optical quality possible with the lens.
All Metabones Adapters follow this tradition of uncompromising precision, robust build quality and outstanding finish. Our new Smart AdapterTM series of products add industry-leading electronic interfacing technology from Canada, with true electronic control of the lens' aperture directly from the camera body.
Our Smart AdapterTM series adapters have the following additional features
Tips: Before mounting your lens to the adaptor, please make sure that the f-stop of aperture ring on the adaptor is turned to "7" (i.e. mounting your lens to the adaptor while only the aperture ring in the adaptor is full closed.).
The tripod foot is Detachable and compatible with Arca Swiss, Markins, Photo cam ball head

The Nikon G to Sony FZ Lens Mount Adapter from MTF Services Ltd. allows you to take advantage of the short flange focal distance of the FZ mount found on optional Sony F3, F5, and F55 cameras to mount your lenses with a Nikon G type lens mount. The body of the adapter is made from aluminum taking advantage of its balance between strength and weight, and it is anodized for scratch and corrosion resistance. The nickel-plated brass mounting surface mates with your Nikon lenses. The replacement mount is mechanical only and does not contain any optics or electronics, which means you will need to use manual focus/iris lenses. The adapter is designed for Nikon G mount lenses and incorporates an iris control ring that allows you to adjust the aperture. Though designed to work with optional Nikon G lenses, the adapter will also work with all other Nikon mount lenses including Full-Frame and DX Lenses.
Its highly corrected optical system was specially formulated to tame coma aberration, a common abberation once considered inevitable in wideangle lenses of retrofocus design. Its optical behavor makes this lens particular suited for scenic, architectural, and interior photography. Although this lens has not been equipped with an CRC system for optimizing its close focusing performance, but this 20mm lens can also a superb lens for closeups. When used it in conjunction with bellows and BR-2/3 reverse adpter ring, it is possible to reach an astonishing magnification up to 12X with this tiny sized Nikkor ultrawide.
The Nikon NIKKOR 24mm f/2.8 Lens is a compact, lightweight and fast wide-angle lens useful for architectural photography, landscapes, environmental portraiture and many other applications. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture makes it effective in low light and when shooting hand-held. It provides a 36mm focal length equivalence when used on DX format Nikon DSLRs. The Close-Range Correction (CRC) system provides superior picture quality at close focusing distances down to 12" and Nikon's Super Integrated Lens Coating improves light transmission, reducing ghosting and flare. The lens weighs just 9.7 oz and accepts 52mm filters. An integrated aperture control ring enables manual control of exposure in addition to lens' support of AE control through the camera body. For programmed auto or shutter-priority auto exposure shooting, use the minimum aperture lock lever to lock the lens aperture at f/22.
The Nikon NIKKOR 28mm f/2.8 Lens offers superior sharpness with quality construction throughout, in a compact package. This FX-format lens features a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture and Close-Range-Correction (CRC) which maintains image quality throughout the focusing range down to its minimum focusing distance of 8.3". The manual focus lens also utilizes Super Integrated Coatings for minimizing ghosting and flare. Additionally, when used on DX-format camera bodies it has a 42mm equivalent focal length. A physical aperture control ring is available for making adjustments by hand and it accepts 52mm threaded filter. Also, it has a 7-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus areas.
The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens is designed for use with DX-format cameras and will provide a "normal" 52.5mm equivalent focal length. With an f/1.8 maximum aperture it is useful in low-light conditions and it has one aspherical element to help control distortion and aberrations. Also, it utilizes Nikon's Super Integrated Coating to further minimize flare and ghosting in your images.
Packing in a Silent Wave Motor AF system with a rear focusing design, the NIKKOR 35mm is able to lock focus quickly and quietly. Also, it has manual focus override for taking control whenever it is desired, and it can focus as close as 11.8" to your subjects. Additionally, it has a 52mm filter diameter and features a 7-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus elements.
Take photos with a unique look and feel with the ultra-fast f/1.2 aperture of Nikon's NIKKOR 50mm f/1.2 Lens, which also offers more possibilities in low-light photography. It also provides very shallow depth images when used at f/1.2. This lens is built to Nikon's classic all-metal manual focus standards offering smooth focusing and rugged construction along with a physical aperture control ring. Also, it has a Super Integrated Coating to limit flare and ghosting along with a minimum focus distance of 19.7". Additionally, it takes 52mm threaded filters and has a 9-blade diaphragm to produce extremely smooth out-of-focus areas.
The AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D Lens from Nikon is a supremely lightweight lens that offers a f/1.8 maximum aperture for effective low light shooting and shallow depth of field control. A standard 50mm focal length on FX format cameras, it provides a 75mm focal length equivalence when used on DX format Nikon DSLRs.
With a simple and time-tested optical design it weighs in at just 5.5 oz making it a great lens for travel and everyday use. Nikon's Super Integrated Lens Coating improves light transmission, reducing ghosting and flare, and it accepts 52mm filters. An integrated aperture control ring enables manual control of exposure in addition to AE control through the camera body. For programmed auto or shutter-priority auto exposure shooting, use the minimum aperture lock lever to lock the lens aperture at f/22.
Autofocus is not supported by D40, D40x, D60, D3000, D3100, D3200, D3300, D5000, D5100, D5200, and D5300 cameras--lens may be used with manual focus only. Be sure to check your camera's lens-compatibility information before selecting a new lens.
The Nikon Micro-NIKKOR 55mm f/2.8 Lens is an exceptionally versatile manual focus lens. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture is fast enough to make it useful as a general photography normal lens and it has a physical aperture control ring for users who prefer it. That same maximum aperture also improves the user's ability to focus when doing macro applications. It produces an exceptionally sharp and clean looking image, at all apertures, from f/2.8 to f/32.
This lens focuses to a ratio of 1:2 in standard form. This means the lens can represent an item on the film at exactly 1/2 its actual size. It is possible to increase this to 1:1 (life-size) with the optional PK-13 extension tube.
This is a well-made, lightweight lens that produces professional quality images. It accepts 52mm filters and Nikon's HN-3 lens hood. The hood is only necessary when using filters because the front element is deeply recessed and quite shaded as is.
The AF Zoom-NIKKOR 80-200mm f/2.8D ED Lens from Nikon is an FX-format, fast telephoto zoom lens with a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture effective for sports and wildlife photography, photojournalism in dim light and general telephoto applications.
