    Why Metabones®?

Since its inception, Metabones has been designing and manufacturing lens adapters recognized among professionals and enthusiasts as leaders in design and workmanship.

Contrary to the popular trend of other factories using an aluminum ring painted black on the camera-body-side, we instead take no short-cut but use precision-machined brass with chromium plating on both the camera-body and the lens sides of our adapters, in order to ensure smooth mounting, great appearance, and durability. The lens side of the adapter features a strong leaf-spring structure, strengthening the adapter-lens connection and ensuring tightness of the lens in order to reduce wear and prevent focus errors and optical alignment issues from appearing.

Metabones uses matte-black treatment to keep internal reflection to a minimum in order to maintain the maximum optical quality possible with the lens.

All Metabones Adapters follow this tradition of uncompromising precision, robust build quality and outstanding finish. Our new Smart AdapterTM series of products add industry-leading electronic interfacing technology from Canada, with true electronic control of the lens' aperture directly from the camera body.

    Features

    • Both camera-side and lens-side of the adapter are made of brass, precision-machined and plated with chromium.
    • Satin surface finish - just like your OEM lens and camera mounts.
    • Precise fit and solid connection - lens has no play, gap or wiggling when mounted on adapter and no adjustments are required to fit your lens.
    • Designed to reach infinity focus while maintaining the correct registration distance required to maintain optical quality of CRC lenses or lenses with floating elements.

Smart AdapterTM  series adapters have the following additional features

    • True electronic integration of aperture diaphragm - let camera automatically choose aperture in P or S exposure modes, or dial in yourself on the camera body in A or M modes.
    • EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length and aperture.

  • MTF - Nikon G to Sony FZ Adaptor

MTF - Nikon G to Sony FZ Adaptor

    Product Overview:

Simply turn the blue ring to adjust aperture. This adaptor incorporates a built in control ring allowing you to visually adjust lens aperture. (Patent pending)

Although designed for G series lenses, this adaptor is compatible with ALL Nikon lenses including DX series.

(Please note: Using this adaptor will introduce a magnification factor of 1.5X with full frame lenses)

    • Compatible with any current and future Sony FZ-mount cameras, such as the F3, F5 and F55.
    • Original design for intuitive operation.
    • Flat black coated baffle.
    • Impossible to damage lens during fitting and operation.
    • Compatible with DX and 35mm Full-Frame format lenses.
    • Compatible with lenses with or without aperture rings. (Nikon F and G Mounts)
    • Nickel-Plated Brass Nikon G Type Mount

The Nikon G to Sony FZ Lens Mount Adapter from MTF Services Ltd. allows you to take advantage of the short flange focal distance of the FZ mount found on optional Sony F3, F5, and F55 cameras to mount your lenses with a Nikon G type lens mount. The body of the adapter is made from aluminum taking advantage of its balance between strength and weight, and it is anodized for scratch and corrosion resistance.

The nickel-plated brass mounting surface mates with your Nikon lenses. The replacement mount is mechanical only and does not contain any optics or electronics, which means you will need to use manual focus/iris lenses. The adapter is designed for Nikon G mount lenses and incorporates an iris control ring that allows you to adjust the aperture. Though designed to work with optional Nikon G lenses, the adapter will also work with all other Nikon mount lenses including Full-Frame and DX Lenses.

For manual focus lenses, lenses with electronic iris must be set before mounting.
Nickel-plated brass mounting surface for wear resistant mounting.
Black anodized internally to minimize reflections.
Using with full-frame lenses introduces 1.5X magnification, but there is no adjustment to exposure required.

     Nikon (Nikkor) 35mm F1.8 G AF-s

    Product Overview:

    • F Mount Lens/DX Format
    • 52.5mm (35mm Equivalent)
    • Aperture Range: f/1.8 to 22
    • One Aspherical Element
    • Super Integrated Coating
    • Silent Wave Motor AF System
    • Rear Focusing; Manual Focus Override
    • Minimum Focus Distance: 11.8"
    • Filter Diameter: 52mm
    • Rounded 7-Blade Diaphragm

The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens is designed for use with DX-format cameras and will provide a "normal" 52.5mm equivalent focal length. With an f/1.8 maximum aperture it is useful in low-light conditions and it has one aspherical element to help control distortion and aberrations. Also, it utilizes Nikon's Super Integrated Coating to further minimize flare and ghosting in your images.

Packing in a Silent Wave Motor AF system with a rear focusing design, the NIKKOR 35mm is able to lock focus quickly and quietly. Also, it has manual focus override for taking control whenever it is desired, and it can focus as close as 11.8" to your subjects. Additionally, it has a 52mm filter diameter and features a 7-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus elements.

The 35mm focal length closely matches a 50mm lens in the FX format. This is perceived to be a natural lens as it provides an undistorted angle of view that is similar to what the unaided human eye perceives.
The incorporation of an aspherical element minimizes coma and other lens aberrations, further improving image integrity.
The Super Integrated Coating (SIC) enhances light transmission efficiency and offers superior color consistency with reduced flare.
The Silent Wave Motor (SWM) embedded in the body of the lens enables fast, accurate and quiet autofocusing.
A rounded 7-blade diaphragm produces a more natural rendering of out-of-focus image elements.

  • Tokina 50-135mm f/2.8 AT-X 535 Pro

    Tokina 50-135mm f/2.8 AT-X 535 Pro

The Tokina 50-135mm f/2.8 AT-X 535 PRO DX Lens is a large-aperture telephoto zoom lens designed exclusively for use with digital SLR cameras. It features a fast constant aperture of f/2.8, and provides a focal length equivalent to 80-216mm in 35mm format. This zoom range covers a broad range of frequent telephoto situations.

The lens features SD glass lens elements to correct for chromatic aberrations and focuses all colors accurately at the film plane.

DX series lenses feature a smaller image circle (rear of lens) and are designed to match the smaller dimensions used for the image sensor on digital cameras. As a result these lenses are also more compact and lightweight, and are better matched to digital SLR cameras.

    WP Coating
WP (Water Proof) coating made of a special fluoride compound has been applied to the front surface of the new lens through the use of a unique evaporation process. As a result, the lens offers excellent water- and oil-repellent performance and makes for easier cleaning should the lens be accidentally smeared with fingerprints or cosmetics.
    IFS (Internal Focus System)
This lens incorporates an internal focusing system, which eliminates front lens rotation, allowing the use of a Perfect Hood and easy to use circular polarizing filter. Handholding is easy since focusing and zooming do not change its overall length.
    Focus Clutch Mechanism
The Focus Clutch Mechanism provides faster, smoother autofocus operation with fast and easy switching between manual and autofocus from any position.
    9-Blade Aperture
The rounded diaphragm opening (9 blades) makes out-of-focus elements appear more natural.
